Callum Clark
Chair

Callum currently works for Action on Hearing Loss as a Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager. His role is to generate income from businesses, organisations and individuals so that the organisation can help the 1 in 6 who have hearing loss, deafness or tinnitus live the life they choose.

He has served on the Northern Ireland committee for three years, originally as events and sponsorship lead.

Treasurer

Naomi is an experienced and adaptable fundraising professional with over ten years' community fundraising experience with a MInstF (Cert) with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

She is responsible for developing and implementing the community fundraising strategy in Northern Ireland for Diabetes UK, working independently but also as part of a regionally dispersed team. Naomi is highly skilled at relationship-led fundraising with a proven track record of building successful long lasting relationships with supporters and possess solid volunteer management skills. Naomi is Treasurer of the Northern Ireland Committee.

Secretariat

Jimmy is the secretariat for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising in Northern Ireland. In his day job he is the Engagement Manager for the National Lottery Heritage Fund in Northern Ireland since 2016 where he helps stimulate and support the flow of good quality applications; providing pre-application advice and support to potential applicants, contributing to and implementing outreach strategies.

Previous posts include working as Facilitation, Training & Development Officer at Community Change where among his duties he managed various grant funded projects. He previously worked for NICVA for 10 years as the Fundraising Advice Officer where he administered the Grant Tracker project and trained groups in the various aspects of fundraising and was also the Secretariat for the NI Trust’s Group.

Jimmy is an expert on researching funding sources and has significant experience in helping groups obtain funding from trusts, foundations and EU funding. He has sat on numerous grant assessment panels including Big Lottery Fund, Coca Cola and various EU funds. He has an Advanced Diploma in Social Enterprise at the University of Ulster, is Diploma qualified from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and is also a Volunteer Mentor for the Sported Charity and is Chairman of St Johns GAC, Drumnaquoile.

Nadine Campbell
Nadine Campbell

Nadine specialises in marketing and fundraising for not-for-profit organisations, including direct marketing, managing media appeals, press advertising, digital fundraising, SMS giving, direct and electronic mail. She has extensive experience growing income from community fundraising, direct mail, legacies, in memory, events, raffle and lotteries, trusts & foundations and major donors. Aside from the day job, Nadine holds many voluntary positions, including Chair of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising in Northern Ireland, Treasurer for The Rainbow Project and is a member of the Belfast Lean in Executive Leadership Team.

Events

Emma has worked in the charity sector for over ten years, having previously worked in marketing and communications roles in the public and private sectors. Her fundraising experience has included roles at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Diabetes UK and Parkinson’s UK. Currently she works as a fundraiser for Marie Curie Northern Ireland. Through these roles Emma has gained experience in a wide range of fundraising – community, major donor, events, trusts & foundations, corporate and individuals. Emma also has a Diploma in Marketing Communications and a Diploma in Fundraising.

Julie has been working in fundraising since 2012 after experience in education and as a volunteer for health and disability charities. She is currently Corporate Fundraising Support Officer at NI Chest Heart and Stroke. Julie has experience across community, corporate, events and trust income streams as well as charity marketing and communications. Her previous roles include Muscular Dystrophy UK as Regional Development Manager, NI Fundraiser at Action for Children and Fundraising and Marketing Officer at Belfast Central Mission.

Julie joined the Northern Ireland Regional Group Committee in 2017 and has enjoyed being involved in planning the Annual NI Conference.

Equality, diversity and inclusion

Karin has over 30 years’ experience in events and media, working locally, nationally and internationally at the most senior level. She created and delivered events in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Cancun, Beijing, Stockholm, Lisbon, Dakar and Hyderabad among others. Throughout her career she has been active with a number of charities on fundraising committees and at board level.

She is an Award Winning Ambassador for Visit Belfast having been part of the bid team to bring Routes Europe to Belfast for the first time. Karin is an Independent Assessor with the Commissions for Public Appointments in NI. On the Northern Ireland Regional Group committee, Karin has responsibility for Policy and Membership and is also a Special Advisor to Will to Give.

Matthew Allen
Matthew Allen

Matthew is currently the UK Community Fundraising Manager for Concern Worldwide and has been working in the Northern Irish charity sector for over eight years. In his current role, he manages a team responsible for local community support, local events, challenge events, schools and national events such as the Concern FAST, and is also the UK Project Manager for the Ration Challenge.

Matthew has previously worked with a number of charities such as Cancer Fund for Children, The Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice & Action on Hearing Loss. Matthew has worked in a number of fundraising areas, such as Community Fundraising, Corporate Fundraising & Event Fundraising. He has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Northern Ireland committee since November 2015.

Paul Montgomery

Policy

Paul has twenty years’ experience in fundraising across corporate, community, events and trust income streams.

With the first half of that career based in England, Paul started in fundraising at the Anthony Nolan Trust and later at Cancer Research UK. Upon returning to Northern Ireland, he has worked with NSPCC and has led the fundraising team at the Stroke Association since 2012.

Paul joined the Northern Ireland Regional Group committee in 2018.

Clare has been working in the third sector for almost twelve years; eleven years in fundraising and one year in service delivery. Clare was Community Fundraising Manager with NSPCC Northern Ireland for nine years and took up the position of Corporate Fundraising Officer with AWARE in February 2018. She is currently the Fundraising Manager at AWARE. She has many years’ experience in both community and corporate fundraising, event and volunteer management and was delighted to manage the AWARE fundraising team that won Fundraising Team of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising NI Awards 2019.
